省级风景名胜区大孤山风景区位于丹东西南100公里处，东临大洋河，南濒黄海，峭拔突兀，孤寺海滨，总面积42平方公里，由大孤山古建筑群，尼姑庵，大鹿岛景区组成。

    大孤山古建筑群始建于唐代，是自然景观和人文景观的结合体，是中国最大的道，佛，儒三教合一古建筑群落，有天后宫，地藏寺以及十多个宫，殿和戏楼，石佛塔及观海亭组成。站在观海亭举目南眺，黄海碧波和鹿岛风光尽收眼底。

    The province-level scenic spot-DAGU Mountain lies in the southwest of Dandong City,which is 100km from Dandong City,with the Dayang River to the east,the Yellow sea to the south. There are towering crags and isolated temples.Dagu Mountain Scenic spot with the total area of 42KM consists of the Dagu Mountain ancient architectural complex with towering crags and isolated temples, Buddhist nunnery and Deer Island.

    The building groups in the Dagu Mountain were built early in  the Tang Dynasty. It is a combination of natural landscae and human landscape.It is the largest ancient architectural complex where the Taoist,Buddhists and Confucians live together in harmony.It is composed by the Tianhou Palace,Dizang Temple more than ten palaces,theatre buildings,the Shife Tower and the Sea-eye view of the blue waves of the Yellow sea and the beautiful scenery of Deer Island.
